About Mount Trail

Last updated 1 November 2026

Mount Trail exists because planning a trek in Nepal still means stitching together a decade-old forum thread, an agency brochure and a government notice written in PDF. We publish the numbers in one place, say where each one came from, and date every page so you know how stale it is.

How we research

  • Permit fees and entry rules come from the issuing body — the Nepal Tourism Board, the Department of Immigration, or the municipality that collects them — and we link the notice.
  • Teahouse and transport prices come from menus and tickets recorded on the trail, with the month and the route noted.
  • Every page carries a “last verified” date. If a figure is older than a season, treat it as a starting point and check it.

Corrections

Prices move and routes close. If something here is wrong, write to rautesh6@gmail.com with what you saw and when — corrections are published with the updated date changed.

How the site is funded

Mount Trail carries display advertising. Advertisers have no say in what we publish, no review of drafts, and no influence over which routes or operators are recommended. See the disclaimer for the full statement.
