Privacy Policy

Last updated 1 November 2026

This policy explains what Mount Trail collects when you visit, who else receives it, and how to control it. Review it with a lawyer before you publish — it is a starting point, not legal advice.

What we collect

  • Nothing you type unless you email us. The site has no accounts, no comments and no newsletter sign-up.
  • Aggregate analytics: pages viewed, approximate region, device type and referrer, collected through Google Analytics 4, which is loaded by Google Tag Manager.
  • Local settings: your light/dark choice is stored in your own browser and never sent to us.

Cookies and advertising

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.

  • You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings.
  • You can opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices.
  • Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are shown a consent message before personalised ads or analytics cookies are set, and consent can be changed at any time from the link in the footer of that message.

Embedded video

Pages may embed clips from YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. Nothing is requested from those services until you press play on a clip — until then, no third-party video cookie is set and no request leaves your browser. Pressing play loads the player and subjects that playback to the provider’s own privacy policy.

Data retention

Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Email correspondence is kept until the matter is closed and then deleted.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA or the UK you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold. Write to rautesh6@gmail.com.
